Trials of Sarenth (Product Owner)

Narrative design project, where I got to practice design work and Agile/Scrum as Product Owner.

Being Product Owner for this project allowed me to work on both my agile/scrum skills, as well as flex my narrative design muscles. In class, we usually pitch our project idea to our peers. Luckily for me, I am an avid player and DM. So, when it came time to create a concept for a DnD module, my expierence paid dividens.

One of the best parts of this project was the opportunity to design a lot more than other assignments. It was a room full of designers, and we had a blast feeding off of each other. It felt a little weird at times without programming and engine work in our production sprints, but we managed to adapt to the task at hand.

This project was also a great exercise in facilitating team activities and practicing Agile/Scrum methodolgies. Above all else, training to be a leader and guiding my team through this project was the most rewarding to me. It was at this time I'd either been a lead or P.O. a few times, and I really started to see myself grow comfortable in game production.
